Pocket Lap started as a group chat where a few friends kept sending each other screenshots of games we found on our phones. At some point we decided to stop losing those recommendations and put everything in one place. Now it's a small independent site with no publisher behind it.,Everything you read here comes from real sessions. We install the game, play it for a few evenings, and only then start writing. If something frustrates us during the first ten minutes, we say so plainly instead of pretending it's fine.,Games get picked for a few reasons: a reader mentions one, we stumble on it in the charts, or a genre we love gets a fresh release. We don't accept paid placements, so a game ends up on the list only because we found it worth talking about.,We mostly cover racing and arcade titles because that's what we enjoy most, but you'll also find RPGs, strategy, and the odd puzzle. If it runs on a phone and keeps us coming back, it has a shot at a review.
