Simulation
Harvest Port
★★★★☆ 3.9
Harvest Port is a laid-back simulation where you run a small coastal town. You farm, fish, trade with passing ships, and slowly turn a sleepy port into a thriving little economy. There's no pressure and no fail state, which is exactly the point.
The satisfying part is watching your supply chains click into place. Set up the right routes and your town more or less runs itself, freeing you to plan the next expansion. It scratches the same itch as tidying a desk.
It does lean on waiting timers, which is my main gripe. Some upgrades take real-world hours, and that can stall a session. Play it in short daily checks rather than long marathons and it works much better.
What we liked
- Relaxing with no pressure to perform
- Satisfying trade and supply loops
- Works well as a daily check-in game
