Lantern Hollow

Lantern Hollow is a calm adventure game you play with taps and swipes. You arrive in a foggy coastal village to figure out why its lighthouse went dark, and you do it by exploring, talking to odd characters, and solving small environmental puzzles. The mood is cozy and a little melancholy.

The puzzles are logical, never the kind that have you brute-forcing combinations. Each one ties into the story, so solving them actually tells you more about the village. I finished it in two sittings and smiled at the ending.

It's short and linear, with no replay value to speak of. But as a single evening of atmosphere and gentle discovery, it's lovely. Bring headphones for the sound design.
